The virtual battle is begon between Vmware/Citrix and Microsoft. According to an article on info world the next version of Vmware ESX is going to be free of charge.  It contains the hart of ESX, namely the hypervisor and a set of drivers to run it.

For those who use Windows Home Server: Power Pack 1 is RTM.

Here's a quote of the Windows Home Server team blog: 'Power Pack 1 provides a range of new enhancements, including support for home computers running Windows Vista x64 editions, backup of home server Shared Folders, improvements to remote access, more efficient power consumption and better performance. And, of course, it delivers a fix for the data corruption bug.

AD Tool a scripting solution for bulk changes in your AD environment

Last year I was searching on the internet for some tools to do bulk changes in active directory. i found a lot of tools but not suited for my purposes. One tool however did exactly what I wanted, can't even remember what that was but I started a email conversation with Rob Schippers the man behind AD-Tool. I proposed to him that he could write a article on datacrash to promote his firm. We only to this with small firms for no or little fee.

Today I received on of the technet news flashes with a intereseting item. All who knows the tools that sysinternal builds are downloadable from the microsoft site. Since a few days they are also available to execute from your browser. They build a nice listing were all the tools sysinternal made are available for download or simply use run instead of save.
