Error: Unable to connect to Global Catalog Print E-mail

One of our Exch2k srvs has a problem in connecting to the GC in its site, as is logged by that GC (event 1126). The Exch srv itself logs several error msgs as in events 8270 and 8022 with LDAP eror code '[34] Unavailable'. Event 2080 is logged with the status of all DC's found, including roles etc, all information is OK.

Users have no trouble sending/receiving email, all services in the exch services keep running, just these errors are logged.

DNS seems to be fine too (netdiag told me), all records are there.

This was solved according a suggestion in Q313167, not enough physical connectivity. Rules in the firewall were prevented several connections between the Exchange servers specified by the RUS-list and their respective Global Catalog servers. All servers (DC's and Exch) mentioned in any RUS, should be able to interconnect.
