AppSense Application Manager causing Hangs - 2007/02/08 20:02
I was recently a member of a team who completed a medium size Citrix deployment. In total we rolled out 41 servers to over 1000 end users.
During the course of the project we noticed an interesting problem where our servers would reboot at random intervals, with random user loads. The Windows event viewer gives me an awesome message reporting "The previous system shutdown at xx x was unexpected."
I did some searching and found Citrix Article CTX111499. This describes an article which reports AppSense Application Manager 6.2.76.0 as the cause of the problem.
I can confirm that in my case this was the error and the fix is to apply AppSense 109 hotfix!
