It's been a while since I last posted. Currently I am busy learning all kinds of new stuf like exchange2010, Windows server 2008r2 and didn't have much time to post. I follow a few people from Res Powerfuse and the twitter anounced that Res Powerfuse 2010 is now available! this means new goodies, improvements and ofcourse bugs :) but with the excelent support from Res Powerfuse that shouldn't be a big problem. Today I received like many others a e-mail from Citrix with the anouncement that the technological preview of Xenapp for Windows Server 2008 R2 is available. The full version will become available Q2 of 2010 as far as I have read. The preview is available when you logon to your mycitrix account. And most likely if you subscribed to receive it. I did not play with it yet but will in the comming weeks.

[article on virtualistic] Virtualistic released the beta for the dutch language pack for the Citrix Web Interface 5.2. While they were overwelmed by e-mail requests to releaes it they decided to release it but as beta. So now they are probably overwelmed by bugreports aswell ;) Get full article here

Citrix has released a new tool called Citrix Printing Tool. This tool enables you to troubleshoot right.. the printer issues in your environment. You have already tools like Citrix printdetective that show's what drivers are installed but not as in depth as this tool. I didn't test it yet but will be testing this tool very soon in a Windows 2008 environment. Get it here

[article on virtualistic.nl] I just upgraded my lab environment from MPS (dare I say it) 4.0 to the latest XenApp 5.0 FR2. I thought why not do a demo of the renamed SpeedScreen (HDX) features…  First off, I wanted to do a client side rendering video with Flash but the documentation concerning HDX is confusing the frac out of me.
