For the first time a guest author is writing a howto on Datacrash.net

We are going to let more guest author's write howto's articles etc and this is the kickoff.

I’m a Project Engineer Server Based Computing, currently I’m working for IT Oost Nederland BV (http://www.iton.nl). I implement a lot of Citrix Secure Gateway (CSG)  and Citrix Access Gateway (CAG) solutions. And every customer wants some branding to be done on there server. They want there company logo on screen, or the company color, etc.

It all started with CSG implementations, I did a lot of customizing there, with a lot of help from Thomas Koetzing’s website (http://www.citrix4ge.com ), there you will find a lot of useful tips how the change the CSG,  After doing this a many time by hand, I had enough. Then I made a lot of VB-scripts to help me with the changes, cause every good computer engineer is a lazy one

Since the introduction of the CAG, I couldn’t use my existing vbscripts, I had to make some new ones. The first script (change logonpoints.vbs) you can make changes to your logonpoints on your Citrix Advanced Access Control Server.

I must state that I’m not a scripting-guru, but know my way around vbscript. I used the following site as a reference many times http://www.devguru.com/technologies/VBScript/home.asp

Here I’ve made a new logonpoint called “Users”, this is the default layout. (see figure 1)

After you run the Change Logonpoint script, your page could look something like this. (see figure 2)

When you logon the defailt page-layout looks likt this (see figure 3)

After you run the Change SessionInitPage script, your page look somthing like this (see figure 4)
