Citrix fixed the smartcard logon using safesign Print E-mail

Last year I wrote a little article about hotfix rolluppackage02 for Metaframe Presentation Server 4.0 crashing the server with the lsas.exe error on a MS Windows 2003 (R02) server. After authenticating with the smartcard a message apeared informing you the server was nicely shutting down.

As I got time to day to browse the internet a bit I stumbled on 3 new hotfixes Citrix released in January this year. One of them the CTX112080 addresses the issue I reported to Citrix while working for Getronics PinkRoccade. Estimated time to publish the fix was then 2 months, that would have been february this year but hey, a miracle happenned and they already published it for us all to download!
