[Updated] Get the vb objects for Citrix Print E-mail
Written by Hans Straat, Wednesday, 13 December 2006
Michel Buis is currently working on a script that documents about everything that is to document in a citrix environment. We were wondering why and asked him what he is using to get the objectnames etc.

Michel got back with an answer. Open Microsoft Word go tools > macro > visual basic editor. Now browse to tools references in the visual basic editor and select the Citrix Metaframe COM library see figure 1

Now you can pres OK and then go to view and open "object explorer" see figure 2 as you can see you also have the Metaframe PolicyConfig objects here so it should be possible to script against it.

For me as a non scripter this is all a big mistery but were eager to wait for Michel his totally documenting everything you want to know about the Citrix farm your working on.

To see all MFCOM objects we refer to CTX111543 thanks to: Melliot5 (brain madden forum)
