As browsing the download site for goodies at the citrix site I noticed under the download section for "Clients from Partners" a new tool? Extentix made a widget (the first?) for Citrix
Extentrix is a company that focusses on virtualization (not vmware but the looks :) )and they created a widget that looks nice. They use the Yahoo Widget Engine and it can run on Windows Vista, XP or 2000 so later OS's are not supported. You need a Citrix PN Agent server site setup so the widget can communicate with the citrixfarm and gather a list of published applications (ofcourse after you made the authentication part) You still need the ica client installed on your workstation to be able to fire the applications up :) but heck widgets are always nicer that the never changing ica pn agent etc :) Go to the widget site extentrix |
