Today at the Macworld expo Steve Jobs introduced a new comer to their Macbook range. The new macbook is the slimest notebook available at just 0.76in and comes in two options either the 1.6GHz or 1.8GHz Intel core 2 duo processor. Apple approached Intel asking them to reduce the size of their c2d processors in order for them to make this notebook and well.... guess what.... they did it! Each Macbook Air comes with 2GB RAM, Wireless N, and the option to change the standard 80GB HDD with a 60GB solid state drive. Most noticeably the new Macbook does not have an ethernet port or an optical drive meaning you either need to purchase an external superdrive or make use of the remote optical drive application which was also announced. The Macbook air starts at £1199 (1699 Euro) and goes up to £2028 (2868 Euro). As soon as I've got to play with one I will write my review.
