Today all Windows Vista prereleases, beta versions and release candidates will gracefully shutdown functions.
Users are still able to logon for 2 hours and then the system will reboot itself. Changes to save work are none. The system will reboot without any warning. This will last until august 28 after that time the OS shuts down for good. So for all who use the prerealse, beta or release candidates you should either switch back to good old Windows XP or upgrade to a valid or working :) Windows Vista edition. I myself am running Windows Vista Premium (legal version ;) ) for a while now and am satisfied how it runs. Some feateres I can live without but heck most feateres I don't even use because I work as a normal user behind that workstation. |
