Installing SP2 for Win2k3 on a citrix environment or not Print E-mail

Microsoft released a while ago the service pack 2 for windows server 2003. Now questions rise on forum's if you should install it or not. Most system engineers will wait is my guess looking at other's to see what is happening there.

The only way to figure out if your citrix environment will handle the service pack 2 gracefully is to build a testserver and install the service pack on that server. Citrix released a article with known issues CTX113035. We are curious about your findings positive or negative please post a comment on what you expirience with service pack 2 in your test or production environment.

I am considering installing this service pack on my VMWare test Citrix server.

We are evaluating VMWare ESX server at the moment and recently imported one of my 2003 Citrix servers into the environment. Will comment once done!

it removes the 11 second delay when working with mandatory profiles. Since i only use those with a flex profile i'll go for it soon.
