The Service Pack is automaticly aproved in SUS / WSUS so be carefull if you use this product and need to test SP2 first before rolling it out in production.

EkilErif Manager | 2007-03-28 15:09:03 Yeah, they have changed RIS. I was discussing this with some colleagues a few weeks back about how good RIS was when it came out. Yes it was buggy but it did a great job and since then Microsoft have not really done anything with it. We are currently looking at upgrading our RIS Servers at our remote sites to SP2 so if you get a chance to test it let me know. Cheers Rt

Playwell Manager | 2007-03-29 09:41:45 It's just BDD what gets installed. On an existing RIS server it runs in backwards compatibility mode so it still works like before. However, after installation of SP2 you would have the full power of BDD. And it's great! No more fiddling in answer files, just tell BDD what you want and how you want it in a GUI. Haven't got the time for a review though..
