Not only is Microsoft having a normal patch tuesday but they have also launched Service Pack2 for Windows Server 2003 through Windows Update.
Naturally, System Engineers will still be able to block the Service Pack with the SP Blocker. Due to the various summer time changes in the USA and some major patches for Exchange systems, SP2 had not been made available before today. SP2 will automatically be downloaded and installed if you have this setting enabled on your server(s). Our advice: allthough SP2 has already been out for over a month, test before bringing it into your production environment. |
