Already almost a month ago the busy bees of sysinternals released Process Monitor V1.33. At the moment of the release I thought about it to post a article on it but it totally slipped my mind.
New goodies inserted in V1.33? Yes, they enhanced the file and regmon section in process monitor a bit or big. This tool is getting more and more usefull although not handy to use on a busy citrix or terminal server best to use while only one user is logged on. Otherwise you could really slow the performance of a server down. I talk with expirience here while stupid enough to run it on a server wile 40 users were working on it. Soon telephone rang complaining about slow performance and heck.. it's a pain to get taskmanager up and loaded to kill the process monitor so be warned. More can be read here |
