Remote Destkop gadget from FrameworkX Print E-mail
Written by Hans Straat, Tuesday, 26 June 2007
FrameworkX released a while ago the remote desktop gadget for Windows Vista. Allthough it seems nice a few improvements would come in handy.

We all know the toolbar option in WindowsXP were you can create your own toolbar and make a folder with custombuild RDC connections. In this folder we could save a custom made RDC and open it on the desktop. This ment saving username and of course the password (which isn't very wise to do). FrameworkX created a gadget for Windows Vista were you can fill in the name of the computer or ip address. You get 2 choises, first is the console option and second is the full screen option. I personally miss a dropdown list with the ip addresses or names remeberd. If you have to manage multiple machines on a daily basis this becomes very usefull. Download the RDP Gadget here

For those still using the toolbar we also have a tool created by Louis Koolman. He build a excel sheet that let's you fill in hostname or ip address and the site. This will create a folder and you can also fill in the username you want to use. You can download the excel sheet here

You must enable macro's to get the excel tool working! For the rest follow the instructions.

I have been noticed that a lot of wow power leveling comments are pure spam. This of course is not wanted and I have decided that from now on only registerd users can write comments. So if you want to write a comment wow powerleveling and are not registerd yet you have to register. We won't use your email or other stuf for commercial purposes. The main reason we have changed the setting is to get rid of the spam bots that post massive wow goldcomments with all kind of links and unwanted stuf in the comments. I hope you power leveling understand this action cause we are a bit sick of those people who ruine a good post with all kinds of comments.
