as browsing to search a script I stumbled on a big picture that Windows Powershell version 1.0. We knew that Windows Powershell had a RC already but didn't know that it's now officially version 1.x.

You need also the .net2 RTM (realese to manufacturing edition) to be able to work with the powershell.

Microsoft has downloads available for

• Windows Vista RC1 (5600) and Windows Server code-name "Longhorn" IDS(5600)
• Windows XP SP2 - windows powershell 1.0 RTW
• Windows server 2003 - windows powershell 1.0 RTW
