A long time ago I wrote a review about Password Control, a tool writen by David Wiseman that enables helpdesk employees to reset passwords, enable/disable accounts without having to publish a MMC snapin to the helpdesk employees. Since I received a email from redmond magazine to tell about free tools administrators use I thought hey let's see how the website of David has growen. Well darn, it has and it has boomingly growen. Or he has to much freetime or he is totally addicted to work on his site in the little sparetime he has, I really don't know :) We noticed a few more free of charge tools at his site.
As I digged in deeper he also has a load of scripts now which are free of charge and ofcourse AS IS without waranty etc. Dig around at his site at www.wisesoft.co.uk and see for yourself if it's worth or not spending time over there. In my environment I use Password Control, and I don't get complaints about not working etc. So I think David does a great job there with his tools. (I only wonder when he goes commercial :) )
